WATenERgy CYCLE Project goes livestreaming

The WATenERgy CYCLE Project is participating in the radio event entitled: "Climate Change strategy: the role, implications and challenges for European Cohesion policies" organised by the Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation, ERT in Greece.

The European Commission through the funding program “Supporting information measures on EU cohesion policy" for Regional Urban Development and Regional Policy supports the annual action program entitled "Radio Agora" Greece 2030: Role, Socio-economic Implications and Prospects of European Cohesion Policy. The purpose of the program is among others to raise awareness of EU-funded projects -to ensure the dissemination of information and encourage open dialogue on cohesion policy, and its role in achieving EU targets

This program includes the Radio Popolare (Italy), the Municipal Broadcasting Corporation EMARTv -Andalusia Division (Spain) and the Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation, ERT (Greece). The scientific supervision of the program has been undertaken by the CEPS - Center for European Policy Studies in Brussels (Belgium). 

On Thursday, 28 November 2019, Mr Anastasios Afentis (team member of the Lead Partner Municipal Water and Sewerage Company of Larissa, Greece) will attend this radio event to discuss about the overall objective of our project and describe its contribution to EU Climate Change Strategy. Experts, politicians, representatives of the European Parliament, scientists and academics will attend this event. An open dialogue with citizens will also take place. 

The broadcast will be hosted at the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry. This twodays event will be broadcast live and recorded by ERT. 

In this context, WATenERgy CYCLE, SFEDA and MELTEMI Projects will have the opportunity to disseminate their outputs and results.
