Green Deal Joint Article

The Transnational Cooperation Programme Interreg V-B "Balkan-Mediterranean 2014-2020" and the Interreg Central Europe Programme have conducted an article dedicated to EU Green Deal and more specifically, to EU Adaptation Strategy. The main aim of the article is to show the active role of Interreg transnational programmes in realizing the current European agenda, addressing pressing challenges across Europe, as well as to demonstrate how Interreg helps implement the European Green Deal policies while building back sustainable ecosystems. For this purpose two examples/projects have been highlighted: WetMainAreas (Interreg BalkanMed Programme) and MaGICLandscapes (Interreg Central Europe Programme).
