Mo.Na Project – 7th Steering Committee Meeting

Dec 13, 2021   Online

The members of Mo.Na project: "Monuments In Nature: A Creative Co-Existence" gathered for their 7th Steering Committee Meeting via Zoom Platform on December 13, 2021.

The European Center for Byzantine and Post-Byzantine Monuments, Thessaloniki, Greece (LP in the Project) hosted the event, which was attended by representatives from all Project Partners, institutions from Albania, Bulgaria, Cyprus, and Greece, as well as other external experts.

Since the pilot implementation of the Mo.Na Standard yielded its initial findings, this conference was one of the most beneficial. The Audit Committee reviewed all provided documentation after receiving the application from the Albanian and Bulgarian partners. All documentation was validated, and the first Mo.Na Label awards were presented to the sites of Bulgaria's "Ancient city of Nessebar" and Albania's "Butrint National Park."

During the 7th SC Meeting, partners presented their actions in the project. Furthermore, a thorough discussion on the project closure and what are all partner’s commitments towards the project were analyzed.
