INNOVENTER Project - Workshop on ECVET/EQF/NQF conformity and assessment

On 19 Apr 218 in Razgrad a workshop on ECVET/EQF/NQF conformity and assessment took place. The event was part of the activities of the project „INNOVATIVE VOCATIONAL ENTREPRENEURIAL TRAINING, INNOVENTER” and it is the third one from a number of meetings. The first two took place in Ruse on 11 Apr and in Silistra on 18 Apr and they caused a lot of interest in the participants towards the opportunity for social entrepreneurship training.

The aim of the project is to reach students that study business management or economic subjects, teachers in economy oriented schools, trainers on entrepreneurial topics in VET centres, , entrepreneurs, business owners, social enterprises, and local authorities. The project core lies within the creation of a curriculum on social entrepreneurship and training modules for it, and their availability online on free access.

In this connection, the topics that were reviewed on the event were the ECVET/EQF/NQF requirements that are important for the accreditation of the curriculum. Participants were representatives of the local authorities, of social institutions from Razgrad, of the local businesses, teachers, Martial command – Razgrad, and Director of Razgrad Branch of the University of Ruse “Angel Kanchev” – Assoc. Prof. Stanka Todorova Damyanova, PhD. They all showed interest in social entrepreneurship in relation to assisting the work of such organizations or creating new ones.

The participants introduced themselves and shared their own good practices. The friendly atmosphere predisposed them to discuss ideas for mutual projects and cooperation, and also in what way they can get advantage of the trainings that will be organized on INNOVENTER project.

As part of the work on INNOVENTER project the team from the University of Ruse “Angel Kanchev” is planning more events for the years 2018 and 2019 in the cities Ruse, Razgrad and Silsistra. They will be related to the dissemination of the project results, preparation for the upcoming trainings on social entrepreneurship and the trainings themselves. Online and mobile platforms are in the making, where the training materials will be available on the project languages, including Bulgarian:

The participants in the event showed great interest in taking part in the upcoming INNOVENTER events with their colleagues, because according to them the topic “Social entrepreneurship” is not only modern, but also the trainings which are in the process of planning are extremely necessary and will be practically useful.
