Sep 27, 2018   Limassol, Cyprus

Following the needs assessment led throughout the Southern Member States, the need for a “Train the FLCs” workshop on the topic “Management verifications in Interreg” was identified. The target group of the workshop are the first level controllers (FLCs) and their staff for INTERREG V-A Greece-Cyprus 2014-2020 and INTERREG V-B BALKAN-MEDITERRANEAN 2014-2020 programmes.

The training is organised by the Directorate General for European Programmes, Coordination and Development (DG EPCD) in its capacity as an FLC Approbation Body in cooperation with Interact, Managing Authority and the Joint Secretariats of the two Programmes.

The main objective of this two-day workshop is to harmonise the different levels of knowledge on the subject of National Control.

Participants will have the possibility to learn new practices and exchange experiences among participants, to identify common challenges in daily work and to share problem-solving methods that can increase the quality of control.

The workshop foresees active contributions from all participants, work in groups, with brief presentations to introduce topics or practices.
