INNOVENTER Project - A provocative workshop on social entrepreneurship
May 18, 2018 Silistra, Bulgaria
A team from University of Ruse “Angel Kanchev” organized an interesting working seminar in Silistra on 18 Apr 2018 about ECVET/EQF/NQF conformity and assessment. The event was part of the activities of the project „INNOVATIVE VOCATIONAL ENTREPRENEURIAL TRAINING, INNOVENTER” under program Transnational Cooperation Interreg “Balkan-Mediterranean 2014-2020”, co-financed by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund.
The organizers of the seminar were impressed by the friendly relations between the participants – representatives of the local authorities, associations, teachers, students, managers and physical persons. Most of them shared their experience in social entrepreneurship. That is why the team from the University of Ruse decided to document these great practices and include them in the upcoming trainings as part of the contribution of Silistra to the world social entrepreneurship.
The curious participants in the seminar showed high interest in the leading project idea – an easy to use online platform with a curriculum on social entrepreneurship and a flexible system for trainees’ evaluation. In addition, according to Regulation 12 (Наредба 12) from 2016, school teachers will be able to get credits on social entrepreneurship. The University of Ruse traditionally carried out such trainings through the Centre for Continuing Education.
The participants shared that the curriculum on social entrepreneurship is innovative and applicable after finding out that the project consortium consists of partners with various and mutually complemented experience from Bulgaria and abroad:
Lead partner, National Federation of Employers of Disabled People (Bulgaria)
Partners:
Partner 2, University of Ruse (Bulgaria)
Partner 3, Marie Curie Association (Bulgaria)
Partner 4, Albania Community Assist (Albania)
Partner 5, Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Cyprus)
Partner 6, DYEKO – Support Network for Entrepreneurship and Social Economy (Greece)
Partner 7, Management Consulting Association (FYROM)
Observing partner:
VIVES university college (Belgium)
All participants in the workshop urged the team from the University of Ruse to organize the desired trainings so that they can expand and ratify the meaning of their social initiatives!
