| Project idea title | Meteorite Impact Craters Studying and Conservation |
| Specific problem to be addressed | In the region of Almiros- Thessaly- Greece, there are located two small lakes called "Zerelia" in the middle of an agricultural territory. Τhe first time that impact meteorite craters have been recognized in Greece is the one of Lagios et. al research, Athens 2010. Two circular permanent lakes of 150 and 250m in diameter and both 6 to 8m depth, occur 250m apart from each other. In this area there is a building erecting, designed for being an environmental studying center and a small natural history museum. This building has to be filled with technical equipment and to be established as an international research center. |

| Expected outputs and results | - Exchange good practices on creating a natural history museum and on biodiversity conservation of very sensitive and unique environments; - A natural history museum consisting of a studying area and an exhibition hall exposing natural materials such as local mineral stones and specimens of flora and fauna; - Workshops on biodiversity for local and foreign students. |
