Albanian Center for Sustainable Development was founded in 2007 by a group of experts in different fields. It develops the activity, based on its statutes and internal regulation. The board of Directors is the highest decision making body of the organization and legal representative is the executive director. The Center works for the dissemination of new models of development and particularly cooperates with youth, environmental experts, businesses and government institutions. It aims to affirm itself as a leading institution in this regard. In order to achieve this, the organization operates for 10 years in Albania and in neighboring countries, conducting studies, research; implementing projects and programs for youth development, economy and improvement of social indicators etc.

The organization provides recommendations, consultancies; measures performance indicators and run capacity-building trainings. The methodology is based on analytical studies, the partnerships establishments, group work, exchanging ideas, dissemination and publication of results. There are four departments within the organization: the department of the environment, economy, social development and youth.

The organization promotes the process of volunteerism. Volunteers mainly participate in cleaning actions, awareness campaigns etc. Its activity is based on the following principles: dedication, persistence, integrity, reliability, involvement and strategic engagement. Year by year, the organization has improved its technical, organizational and financial capacities.
