Association of Municipalities in the Attica Region, Solid Waste Management (EDSNA)

EDSNA was set up by a decision of the Ministry of the Interior in accordance with the provision of Article 211 of Law. 3852/2010 Kallikratis on Solid Waste Management Attica Region. The substantial modification has been the recommendation was that was converted into diavathmidiko, i.e. longer represented in this and first and second degree of authority. The coexistence is reflected in the composition of collective bodies, the Board of Directors and Executive Committee.

The purpose of the association is temporary storage, editing, uploading, recycling and overall recovery and disposal of waste, the operation of the facilities, the construction processing and recovery units, and to restore existing repositories (ChADA) in the territorial jurisdiction of the Region of Attica.
